January 19, 2000. Rome, Italy.
Pope John Paul II received a copy of Newton Allen's "Sunrise for Carol" from Jean Fisher, bone densitometry technician at St. Thomas Medical Group. Jean traveled to Rome with Father Walter Ziemba, a polish priest from Michigan.
She and her group had a special conference with the pope and attended a private mass in his chapel.
Jean took some Tennessee wine as well as some home grown music from the office.
